The Hepplewhite Piano Trio was formed in 2009 by students at the Birmingham Conservatoire. The group has built success very quickly, being invited to play at the Purcell Room London, Southbank Centre alongside the Schubert Ensemble and the Lawson Piano Trio. They also won the Sylvia Cleaver Chamber Music Competition in February 2010, were awarded the Derek Young Memorial Award from the Birmingham Chamber Music Society and were the first ever chamber group to win a place in the finals of the Symphony Hall Prize. They have performed with the Birmingham Chamber Music Society and have recently been invited to give a recital and masterclass for the Bournemouth Chamber Music Society.
